hmm...  so...........  someone edited my first post in this thread and i really don't remember what i wrote here back then........  ¬_¬ !!!
and i'm really not inspired right now to write anything cute n fluffy so i'm just going to waste a few lines to say that "this is the ecchi week thread~ !!"


ecchi week starts the first monday of the month (of EACH month !!) and i'm expecting EVERYONE here to participate !!!!!

Hey Everyone!

So this is the thread for Ecchi Week.  It's intended as a fun means of showing some Photoshop prowess and impressing others with some slightly suggestive pictures.  Submissions generally occur within the first full week of each month and we encourage everyone to participate.  If you want to participate, simply create a forum avatar and signature out of some ecchi pictures and embed or link to them in a post.

I recently cleaned out a lot of old posts, but I left two submissions with working pictures as a guideline for future submissions.

Please note: there are RULES!.

1. No clear nudity.  Sure it's all 2-D anyway, but no naked nipples or worse.  The Ecchi Week submissions are not meant to "one-up" each other with the most warped pictures, so try to keep it classy.

2. While Ecchi Week submissions normally consist of an avatar and signature submission, one or the other is fine as well.  We encourage people to embed or link to their pictures in a post, in addition to changing your profile avatar and signature for the week.  As many Photoshop savants create large pictures and then re-size them, embedded or linked image submissions may be larger than a normal signature or avatar.  However, if you embed please use spoiler tabs around the image tags so the image doesn't take up space.  Also, for excessively large images, please use a thumbnail picture or text to link to the image, rather than embedding the image on the page.

3. Do not insult anyone's work.  They put effort into their submission, just as you did with yours.

4. Occasionally we may have an Ecchi Week contest.  If a judge is selected to rank their favorite submissions for that month, please do not complain about their judgements.

5. Sometimes we like to mix things up with a monthly theme.  For instance, in summer we frequently have a swimsuit theme or something of the sort.  This is a fun way, we feel, to challenge your creativity, and we ask that you try to stick with the monthly theme if we have one.

My image manipulation skills are non-existent. Can I still participate using unedited images I got off the net?

hmmm.... i guess you could.  but i think it's fun to add a little something... it doesn't have to be artistic or complicated.  just a little something to say that it's not just a picture you got off the net.... o_o !!

So long as the image isn't copyrighted, re-posting an existing image is fine.  I do invite you to fiddle with the image, though, even if only a little.  I personally enjoy making it something of my own, and think that's half the fun. 

The other half is boobs. 

Edit: Just not exposed boobs; which is why I haven't completed a signature yet.  I actually edited one; a really nice one, but then realized the breasts were exposed (which is probably why I liked the picture to begin with  ), and so I can't submit it.

For those of you worried about image editing, please note that nothing I did was exceptionally grand.  I changed the Popsicle's color, and her hair color, and then added the background text.  Just saying; it's not necessary to stress out over editing, if you simply want to participate.

Edit 2:  I have made an appropriate signature, now.

I just stickied the topic as well as linked it on the main page and in the forum news. Let's hope things pick up. And yes, I'll get something done up when my new motherboard and processor come in. My pc had nuclear meltdown a few days ago.
